- Choose the appropriate head (flat for larger areas, pointed for precision)
- Apply the head to the part of the tooth to be treated (use a mirror if needed).
- Start with the lowest level first and use the higher levels as your skill and confidence grows. Press slightly against the tartar or calculus to remove it.
- Stubborn or severe calculus may take several passes or treatments.
- Be sure to stop and rest if your hand or mouth gets tired.
A full charge supports up to 3 hours of use time - enough for up to 4 weeks’ use if you use it for 3 minutes twice a day.
However we recommend not draining the battery completely. To protect the battery life we recommend charging once every 1-2 weeks. Best performance is achieved on a full charge.
Yes, but when using the scaling function please take extra care to avoid touching/vibrating any part of the braces. If in doubt, we recommend either asking another person to do the scaling for you, or to avoid the scaling function altogether.
